Wheeler
My theory is that you have to try everything
twice. I'm a personal dessert chef and the owner of an eco-friendly,
"green" ice cream bar and cafe that counts friends instead
of money. I consider myself very lucky because I'm able to travel
the world exploring cultures, languages, people and food, allowing
me to stretch my culinary skills beyond traditional thinking.
My experiences have inspired me to create an array of unconventional,
decadent and exotic desserts that will hopefully change people's
perceptions of what can be achieved with food.

Wheeler del Toro is the founder and
owner of Wheeler's Frozen Dessert Co., a micro-creamery based
in Boston that produces vegan ice cream using soy, coconut, rice,
and almond milks. His ice cream has been featured in Boston
Magazine and on popular websites including DailyCandy.com.
He opened his first vegan ice cream palor in Boston in May 2008.
